When the Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary is a reflective writing workshop that invited participants to pause and look again at the ordinary moments that quietly shape our lives.Through a short visual reflection, guided writing exercises, and the creation of personal gratitude jars, participants explore how loss and interruption can shift our awareness of everyday experiences, electricity, sunlight, markets, friendship, and the small routines we often overlook.
The workshop create a space for noticing, remembering, and writing from awareness rather than from forced optimism. Participants write about the things they once took for granted and reflected on how these ordinary elements carry meaning, memory, and resilience.
Together, we practiced slowing down, observing with intention, and transforming simple moments into writing.
No previous writing experience needed.
