It's a lovely feeling using something every day that you have made yourself. During this workshop I will be taking you through the steps to hand carve a Scandinavian style spreader you can use at home or give as a gift. From a fresh piece of green wood we will cleave and then carve the spreader entirely by hand. We will mainly focus on safe use of tools but I will advise on tool care and sharpening so you can carry on by yourself should you become hooked!! There will also be plenty of tips for finishing your work off to a high standard to create something you will treasure.Dates
