Join Martyn Hayes at the Mary Wallace Theatre for a special talk exploring the creation of the popular stage musical The Phantom of the Opera.
His illustrated talk will take you through the twists and turns behind the origin, development, and creation of arguably the most successful shows of all time, and of his personal experience of production managing such a complex production.
Having worked in theatre since 1975, Martyn’s career has spanned roles including stagehand, production carpenter, stage manager, production manager, general manager, executive producer, and producer. His first-hand insight offers a rare look into the development and production management of a global theatrical phenomenon.
