Burpham Court Farm Fish Pass and SANG Site Visit
About
A visit to Burpham Court Farm, Guildford, to view the naturalised fish bypass channel constructed around a weir on the Wey Navigation. The bypass channel was delivered by the Environment Agency and opened in summer 2025.Burpham Court Farm is owned by Guildford Borough Council and is currently being developed as a Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) habitat bank.
Hosted by the Environment Agency, this event will provide an opportunity to learn about the successes and challenges of this ambitious river restoration project. Representatives from Guildford Borough Council will also be present to answer questions about the SANG and BNG plans for the site.
