Nick Mullins & Russ Worthington - Co-Founder’s Axis-RE
Axis-RE is a Manchester based real estate development company committed to delivering high quality, sustainable real estate across the North of England. With over 45 years combined experience, we specialise in navigating complex projects across all commercial and residential sectors. In conjunction with Marco Living the company acquired the former Mitchell’s Brewery site in May 2025 and are working on bringing forward a community-focused mixed use scheme on the site.
Russ is a Lancastrian, he and his family live locally and successfully bringing the Brewery Lane project to fruition has significant personal meaning. Nick has worked on numerous town and city centre regeneration projects in conjunction with Local Authorities and communities throughout his career so between them they understand what it takes to bring forward community-focused regeneration.
John Pye, Eden Project Morecambe – Project Director
John has over 25 years of client-side project management experience in delivering transformational developments across the North West. He joined Eden Project Morecambe in May 2025 to head up the iconic £100m regeneration project to create a world class home for nature, learning and community inspired by the breathtaking Morecambe Bay. Before joining the Eden Project, John successfully delivered RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford working with partners to establish a horticultural showcase of National significance connecting people with place.
