We're taking The Gather to the crease.We're joining forces with Cumbria Cricket for an evening at the picturesque Kendal Cricket Club - cricket lover or complete newcomer, this one's for you
After welcome drinks, you'll head out in groups to take on a series of cricket challenges on the outfield - can you hit the stumps, take the catches or rack up the runs? No experience needed, just a competitive streak and a willingness to give it a go
There'll also be short talks from the people leading cricket across the county - sharing what's really going on behind the boundary.
Then we'll head up to the balcony to watch a live T20 friendly fixture - a brilliant backdrop for a summer evening of good food, ice cold drinks and a spot of networking. And if you want a bit of context on what you're watching, Cumbria's Tier 3 women's team have been in superb form this season, making it well worth following the action.
It's a beautiful venue, we’ll bring a brilliant crowd, and it’s all set to be the perfect way to close out The Gather season before we return in September.
