Following the recent cancellation of our Open Morning, we are pleased to invite you and your family to a special afternoon event on Wednesday 1 July 2026.This offers a wonderful opportunity to experience Reading Blue Coat, set within 46 acres of beautiful surroundings. You will have the chance to meet our Headmaster, Mr Pete Thomas, our dedicated staff, and members of our vibrant student community, and to gain an insight into life at the school.
Highlights of the afternoon include:
- Student-led tours (2.30-3.30pm): Explore our campus and discover school life through the eyes of our students.
- Academic department activities: Engage with a range of subjects through interactive demonstrations and displays.
- Co-curricular showcase (from 4.30pm): Experience the breadth of our co-curricular programme, including performances from our Performing Arts students.
- Headmaster’s talks: Hear from Mr Pete Thomas as he shares his vision and ethos for Reading Blue Coat.
This event is designed to give you a feel for life at the school, and we very much look forward to welcoming you. For families wishing to experience our full Open Morning programme, bookings for our autumn event Saturday 3 October 2026 are now open, and there will be a spring event on Saturday 15 May 2027.
