This is a different kind of networking event for business owners who want deeper conversations and practical support.

We don’t do pitches or presentations on the day, but your message will still be shared with the room.

Before the event, you’ll prepare a short written introduction with what you do and your contact details. This will be shared with everyone afterwards, subject to consent, so you know who was in the room, what they do, and how to contact them for follow-up.

The time we spend together will be focused on honest conversations about the real struggles we face in business, sharing openly, building meaningful connections, and helping each other find practical solutions.

Bring a business challenge with you. At the start of the session, you’ll write a short summary of your challenge and drop it into the hat. We’ll then pull out someone’s challenge at random and work through it together as a group. We’ll work through as many as we can.

The idea is that through this kind of sharing, we can be a little more vulnerable, deepen our connection to each other, and build important business relationships. At the same time, we get practical support with the things we are finding hard.

There’s no judgement, no perfection, and no pretending everything is amazing all the time. This is your Soft Landing. A place to be honest about what it takes to build a business, and get support from me and your peers to keep going.
