Our Public Ride days sessions are bookable below. Our locos will run continuously throughout the session allowing you to ride as much as you wish with your rover ticket.Make the most of the August Bank Holiday weekend with a relaxed, feel‑good family day out at Rainsbrook Valley Railway. Our Bank Holiday Special brings together miniature steam and diesel trains, friendly volunteers, and plenty of space for all ages to unwind and having fun on the railway. Take a ride, soak up the special atmosphere, and create some lasting memories. It’s an easy, cheerful day out for all ages — the perfect Bank Holiday treat!
Ages 2 and under ride for free, but will need a paying adult with them, whilst babes-in-arms not yet able to sit upright must be carried in a suitable and secure papoose.
We have a carriage capable of transporting a wheelchair and passenger. This service is temporary suspended for design improvements and staff training.
There are no steps on-site, allowing access for all, and if it rains - the trains love it even more! So bring suitable clothes and you'll have fun come rain or shine!
