Join historians Meghan Tipping and Christine Handley on a guided walk exploring the heritage and nature of Handsworth, Woodhouse and Shire Brook Valley Nature Reserve.Start: meet at St Mary's Church, Handsworth to begin the walk at 09.30am
Important information: This hard walk will be a point to point starting at St Mary's Church and ending at Woodhouse Library. There are public transport options to take you back to St Mary's Church if you need to get back to a car etc.
What to expect: This hard walk will be around 4 hours. We will walk on natural paths some of which will be steep, narrow and uneven. They can also be muddy if it has rained. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather.
Refreshments and toilets will be available at Shire Brook Valley Visitor Centre half way through the walk. Please bring some lunch with you to fuel you on your walk.
