Step into the world of archery and channel your inner Katniss, Hawkeye or Robin Hood! We’re bringing archery to AAF26 with our Archery GB Coach and Young Instructors from Wells City Archers. It’s not just about hitting targets; it’s about aiming for your personal best and having fun. Join us for an hour of epic action!Each session can have six shooters - anyone aged between 8 and 80+ is welcome to shoot. We're making a small charge for this event (£12.50), to cover equipment maintenance costs and to support the thriving Young Archers section at Wells City Archers (new equipment, training, promoting archery with under-represented groups and supporting those whose circumstances would otherwise mean they couldn't take part in the sport).
MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT
Please make sure that:
- You do not wear loose clothing
- Long hair is tied back (or bring a hair tie to use whilst shooting)
- You let us know about any injuries you have that would affect your ability to shoot
- Any upper body piercings are removed or taped over
- Suitable shoes are worn - they must fully enclose the foot
- You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
