Inside Colour - Music Maps with Deborah Pritchard
About
Deborah Pritchard in conversation with Thomas Kemp explore the relationship between colour and sound in music. The talk includes the world premiere performance of a new piece by Deborah Pritchard for violin and the launch of an exhibition of her Music Maps - exquisite paintings that guide you through pieces of music and express their character and structure through art. These Music Maps are created for her own music and works by other contemporary composers including Thomas Adès, Kaija Saariaho and Luciano Berio.
