About

Musicians with enviable international reputations, the Piatti Quartet and the pianist, Simon Callaghan, help us celebrate our 75th birthday with two 19th-century masterpieces - Schumann's Piano Quartet and Dvořák's wonderfully melodic 2nd piano quintet. They start with Vaughan Williams’ delightful first string quartet, a work which shows the influence of the three months the composer spent studying with Ravel.
