There’s something happening here…Tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, Laurel Canyon was a hotbed of
creative collaboration for the bohemian artists of the 1960s and 70s.
This secluded scene provided the backdrop for Buffalo Springfield,
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and the Mamas & the Papas to craft
folk rock riffs and vocal harmonies as lush as the eucalyptus-lined
landscape. Here, Joni Mitchell hosted legendary late-night acoustic
jams and Jim Morrison penned his famous love letter to the
neighbourhood.
On 12 September, step into The Hayloft and experience the spirit of
the counterculture through its most iconic songs. Feat Lucy & Dave Sturdy, Gem & Jules Gabbitas, Catherine Burke
