A full-day course for officers of Somerset Council, designed to equip you with the information you need to build climate considerations into your daily work. Specifically designed for local authority officers, the morning half of the course will introduce you to the latest climate science and impacts predictions and both global, national and local level, with an overview of climate communications. The afternoon will have a focus on how climate considerations affect the finance and procurement functions of the council, and how staff with those roles can act in 'climate friendly' ways through their work.Date
