A service of celebration of the life of George Attenborough, former Beak (1963–2001), Master-in-Charge of Cricket, and House Master of Moretons (1984–1996), who sadly passed away on 10 April 2026, aged 87, will be held at the School in September and all OHs who knew GMA are invited to attend.

As this service is taking place during term time, all visitors to the Hill must be registered in advance. Therefore, If you would like to attend, we ask that you please register by 5pm Wednesday 16 September.

If you would like to write to George's widow, Anna, please send either an email with the subject line 'FAO Mrs Anna Attenborough' to ha@harrowschool.org.uk. Alternatively, send a letter to the HA office. We will ensure your correspondence is passed on.
