Powerhouse Ballet July 2026 Company Class, with Sara Horner (British Ballet Organisation Registered Teacher)
Join us in person for our July Company Class at Dance Studio Leeds
This is a fun and energetic class for ballet dancers of all levels. Whether you've been dancing for years or only a short time, this session is the perfect chance to connect, learn, push your boundaries and meet other dancers.

Class will consist of barre, centre practice, port de bras, pirouettes and allegro in a low-pressure, supportive environment with a welcoming atmosphere.

Sara has been a professional dancer, singer and teacher since 2004, having completed her professional training at Performers College, Essex. During this time she has performed in corporate shows, pantomime, cruise ships, television and theatre tours of the UK and abroad as a lead female vocalist, dancer and backing artist. Sara has taught in numerous academic and performing arts establishments, and became a classical ballet teacher at Northern Ballet in September 2017. Sara also holds teaching qualifications with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and bbodance, and is a bbodance Examiner.
In November 2015, Sara founded Sara Horner School of Dance, delivering high quality dance classes for children and adults in North Leeds. Affiliated with bbodance, the dance school offers opportunities for students to participate in bbodance examinations, as well as performances.

Powerhouse Ballet is a friendly, inclusive amateur adult ballet company. We provide classes, workshops and opportunities for performances across the North of England.

What to bring: water bottle, flat/soft ballet shoes, ballet clothes or yoga pants / strappy top (clothing should be fitted but comfortable so that you can move easily, no denim).
