Set in beautiful natural surroundings, honouring the traditions of days gone by, Feral Outdoor Company brings you: Harvesting; a Lughnasadh or Lammas celebration!Lammas marks the mid point between the summer solstice & the autumn equinox.
We will start with a gentle walk in nature with time to learn about what seasonal food is available in the hedgerows.
We'll then head back to an inviting wooden cabin, to immerse ourselves in Lughnasadh related traditions: baking bread on the fire & making corn/wheat dollies.
You will learn a little about the meaning of Lughnasadh and its position on the Wheel of the Year.
We wikl also make a non alcoholic foraged cocktail and there will be unlimited tea, coffee & biscuits.

Please note: toilet facilities are available outside in the form of a compostinf loo. There is also a flushing toilet inside the business premises, up a set of stairs, a short walk from the log cabin where activities will take place.
