An evening of wonderful music for an even more wonderful cause.

Kendal Big Band and South Lakes Acapella Group join forces in a concert at Kendal Methodist Church.

Swing, a form of Jazz, reached its height in the 30's and 40's with such bands as Glen Miller and is evocative of that period. Kendal Big Band has a range of swing tunes as well as others from that period.

South Lakes Acapella group sing unaccompanied with some swing numbers as well as others. All being well the two groups will come together at the end of the concert in a joint number.

There will be tea and tray bakes will be available, with the complements of Kendal Rotary Club.
