Stroud District Council is beginning a new Local Plan to guide future growth, development, and infrastructure across the district. We are holding a series of early engagement workshops with engagement specialists Resources for Change (R4C) to gather vital local knowledge and insights from community leaders and stakeholders.

This workshop is one of a series of three area-specific workshops and it will focus particularly on the north and north-west of the district: the parishes located around Stonehouse, on Gloucester’s southern fringe, and the predominantly rural communities bordering the River Severn. The workshop is for representatives of town and parish councils in this area and for the elected members of Stroud District Council and Gloucestershire County Council that represent communities in the north. The aim of the workshop is to help us draw out some of the key issues, future opportunities and particular aspirations for communities in this part of our area, as well as for the wider Stroud district.

Information for town and parish councils:
You are welcome to book for up to two delegates from your parish council. We hope to be able to accommodate everyone, but if the event is oversubscribed, we may only be able to host one representative from each parish. A second representative will be added to a reserve list. Please limit your booking to TWO tickets: one first-choice place and one reserve place. Multiple bookings will not lead to additional places being provided.
