Join us for an inspiring afternoon and evening celebrating the extraordinary life and legacy of Beatrix Potter — author, scientist, entrepreneur and conservationist.This special event will consist of child-friendly workshops that begin at 4pm, followed by a panel discussion regarding the history and legacy of enterprising women in the Lake District and a screening of the 2006 film 'Miss Potter' in the evening. Creative Nature Workshop (Ages 4–6)
5:00pm – From Rabbit Tales to New Adventures
Story Creators Workshop (Ages 7–11)
6:00pm – Beyond the Storybook:
Women, Enterprise and Legacy in the Lake District
8:00pm – A Life Beyond the Pages
Special Screening of Miss Potter (2006)
Admission is free.
Suggested voluntary donation: £5 per person
All donations will help support future Lakes Legacy Festival events and community activities.
Registration is recommended as places are limited.
