Guided Tour - Disruptors: Fractured Images and Migrant World
About
Discover how migration, movement, belonging and resettlement shaped more than a century of word-image experimentation, from the historical avant-gardes and concrete poetry to contemporary conceptual practice. Exploring disruption both as an artistic strategy and as a lived experience, the exhibition examines the changing ‘wordl’ where artist arriving from around the world change how we look at words. The tour introduces works by Kurt Schwitters, Li Yuan-chia, Dom Sylvester Houédard, Hansjörg Mayer, Astrid Furnival, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Tam Joseph, Hormazd Narielwalla, Astra Papachristodoulou and Osman Yousefzada and many more.Location
