Join Burton Unity for a family-friendly outdoor adventure to Pilsbury Castle, exploring local history, wildlife and the beautiful countryside around Hartington.This walk is a lovely opportunity for women and children to enjoy the outdoors together, discover the landscape, learn about the area and take part in simple wildlife spotting along the route. We will walk at a relaxed, supportive pace, making time to observe nature, explore the surroundings and enjoy a day of connection, confidence and fresh air.

What to Expect:
• A family-friendly countryside walk
• A brief talk about Pilsbury Castle and the local area
• Wildlife spotting and nature discovery activities
• A relaxed and welcoming Burton Unity group
• Opportunities for children to explore, observe and learn outdoors
What to Bring:
• Comfortable walking shoes or trainers
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Plenty of water
• Snacks or packed lunch
• Sun cream or waterproofs depending on the weather
This trip is open to women and children only. Boys aged 10 and under are welcome. All children must remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian at all times.
