Sir John Rose – talk followed by a Q&A session
About
Sir John Rose is a senior adviser to Rothschild & Co, and a member of the Nuclear Scaling Initiative Global Advisory Board and green hydrogen firm Protium. He also sits on the investment committee of the British Design Fund.He was formerly the Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Group (1996–2011) and Deputy Chairman of Rothschild Group. Sir John was also an adviser to the Greenbriar Equity Group and the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority, and a trustee of the Eden Project and the Baker Dearing Trust.
Sir John was conferred a knighthood in 2003. In 2008, he was made a Commandeur de la Légion d’honneur and awarded the Singapore Public Service Star. Sir John is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. He was Chairman of the Holdingham Group and on the board of The Prince’s Trust, and President of the European Association of Aerospace Industries and the Society of British Aerospace Companies.
