Tenement Jazz Band
Edinburgh's own, Tenement Jazz Band breath fresh life to Early jazz, ragtime and blues with an acoustic, dance-friendly sound and easy warmth on stage. Named "Best Band" at the 2022 Scottish Jazz Awards, these five friends share era-authentic repetoire, close-knit ensemble playing, and love of music, all sprinkled with a little light whimsy. After a busy year touring everywhere from Kippen to the Côte d'Azur, playing festivals around the UK, and honing their new "Jazz for Kids" shows, the Tenement Jazz Band are very much looking forward to an early autumn outing in The Borders. Hoping we see you there!
