About

Join Glo i Natur CIC for a guided walk through the Lower Swansea Valley, exploring the fascinating invertebrates that thrive within this remarkable post-industrial landscape and its mosaic of unique wildlife-rich habitats.

Learn about the specialist brownfield invertebrates that make their home here, from bees and beetles to grasshoppers and bugs, and discover why these man-made landscapes are so valuable for biodiversity. Part of the site is already recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its rare metal-loving lichens and plants, highlighting its national ecological importance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for nature enthusiasts of all ages to learn more about urban ecology, brownfield habitats, and the surprising wildlife that flourishes in these reclaimed landscapes.
