A space for women to unwind, connect and create.Join Make Space Events x The Hearth for a warm and welcoming evening of creativity, conversation and calm at The Hearth, Queen's Park.
Break the Mould is a playful, hands-on air-dry clay workshop designed to help you switch off, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand.
This is all about process, not perfection. Explore texture, form and shape as you experiment with clay and create something completely your own - with no pressure to get it 'right'.
Guided by qualified art and play therapists, the evening offers space to slow down, get creative and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
No prior experience is needed – just come as you are and with an open mind.
Your ticket includes:
- A welcome drink on arrival
- All materials and equipment
- A guided creative workshop led in a gentle, accessible way
- A supportive, social space to relax and reconnect
Please note that there is no restaurant on site, but we'll provide light nibbles during the evening.

About Make Space Events
Break the Mould is part of the Make Space Events series – a collection of creative wellbeing workshops for women. Each event centres around a different hands-on activity, but the heart of it remains the same: creating space to slow down, connect, express yourself and enjoy making alongside others.
Each session is thoughtfully curated to blend creativity, conversation and community in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, where the emphasis is on the process rather than perfection.
