Ardvannachie, Glenbeg 2026
About
A delightful wildlife garden in the quiet rural area of Glenbeg, on the edge of Grantown-on-Spey. Hayley Wiswell has worked the garden for 10 years, increasing the abundance and diversity of native flowering plants to support local wildlife whilst also maintaining a small vegetable patch and ornamental beds. Ardvannachie has mature trees, wildflower areas, mini-meadows, a pond, greenhouses and an alpine garden. There are splendid views of the surrounding woodland and a wide variety of wildlife can be seen from the property; roe deer, buzzards, red kites and all manner of garden birds. The garden also has resident toads, breeding newts and there are always plenty of bees, butterflies and hoverflies.Date
