ANGELS COSTUMES, 1 GARRICK ROAD, LONDON NW9 6AA.
Established in 1840 Angels Costumes is the largest, privately owned collection of costumes for film, theatre and TV in the world. Amongst their many clients are Madame Tussauds.
Founded by a young tailor from Frankfurt, Germany it is now run by the 7th generation of his family. They moved premises from several sites in London to here in 2002. There are over 1 million costumes in 8 miles of hanging racks.
We have a guided tour of the site which lasts up to two hours. PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS QUITE A LOT OF WALKING, SOME STAIRS AND NO SEATING.
The tour starts at 10.30 and we will be split into two groups. We should meet at 10.15 at the entrance which is a short distance from the bus stop. There are buses from Wembley Park and Harrow which stop in Hendon Broadway just before Garrick Road.
