Come along to our CLIP Community Allotment Open Day and see what we have been creating!
This is a **drop-in event**, so there is no need to stay for the whole session. Come along, meet the CLIP team, have a look around the allotment, find out more about what we are hoping to achieve and discover how you, your family, community group or organisation could get involved.
We are also looking for people who would like to become allotment volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, we will have sign-up forms available on the day so you can register your interest and find out more about volunteering with CLIP.
⚠️ Important accessibility and safety information
We have worked hard to make our community allotment as welcoming and accessible as possible. However, it is still an allotment and access is limited in some areas. The site has uneven and natural ground surfaces, which can present a risk of trips, slips and falls, particularly in wet or muddy weather.
Visitors should take care when moving around the site and only access areas that are suitable and safe for them. Please speak to a member of the CLIP team if you have any concerns about accessing the space.
Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn for the weather and conditions on the day. We recommend sturdy, weather-appropriate footwear and clothing that you don't mind getting muddy.
We have a limited number of pairs of wellington boots available to borrow on the day, but these cannot be guaranteed for everyone, so please bring suitable footwear wherever possible.
By attending the allotment, visitors acknowledge that they are entering an outdoor allotment environment with natural and uneven surfaces and associated risks.
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable visit, so please take your time, dress appropriately and let us know if you need any assistance.
