RICHMOND SHAKESPEARE SOCIETY PRESENTS
WORKSHOP: HOW TO USE YOUR VOICE
Led by Riley Neldam
Designed for actors with little or no formal voice training, this workshop introduces the core principles of actor voice work. Participants will explore breath, resonance, articulation and vocal freedom through practical exercises that release tension and encourage a more connected, expressive voice.
You will also learn a straightforward vocal warm-up to use before rehearsals and performances, and practical tools for speaking with greater ease, clarity and presence, and for filling the space without strain.
Riley is an actor and educator with over 15 years' international experience, specialising in the Linklater Voice Method, Jean-René Toussaint's Primitive Voice, classical singing, extreme vocal techniques, scream singing, speech and accents. We are privileged to have this opportunity to learn from him.
There’s no need to bring anything but space is limited so do book your place.
The Workshop is open to RSS Members only so if you are not yet a member, please join on the RSS website. There is no charge for this workshop but please consider making a donation towards the costs of running the RSS How To workshop series.
