Why does your child say 'no'? Intended for professionals working with children who present demand avoidant behaviours, this session provides the opportunity to discover underlying reasons for avoidance, understand the educational impact and gain solutions, strategies and advice.You will also have the opportunity to think about the behaviours presented by the child you work with and to try and identify the communication behind them. There will then be the opportunity for questions to be asked about the specific challenges which you face and to receive some guidance around the adaptations that can be made when working with children and young people with this presentation of ASD.
