Leith Hill & Tillingbourne Waterfall Hike

About
Trek to the highest point in South East England
Join North Downs Way Ambassador and Surrey Hills Guide, Pete Lambert for this enchanting 7 mile trek to the summit of Leith Hill as seen on Britain's Favourite 100 Walks and also visit one of Surrey's best kept secrets, the Tillingbourne Waterfall.
We start in Friday Street Car Park just off Hollow Lane and make our way slowly up to Leith Hill, taking a small excursion Tillingbourne Waterfall then if the weather is good down to Coldharbour for some refreshments before a possible light scramble back onto Leith Hill and then finally summiting with hopefully magnificent views which can see as far as the London Skyline.
Bring with you suitable clothes for the weather, fluids/something to eat and a couple of pounds if you want to climb the tower at the summit.
Friday Street Car Park is free.
The walk starts at 11am but please start arriving from around 10:30. If you are not there by 11 the group will go without you.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but may need to be kept on a lead for a duration of the walk down to road crossings and farmland.
