Gardens of Easton Lodge 24th April Open Sunday.
The first full season Open Day and the opportunity to enjoy the trees coming into leaf at the Gardens, and in particular in the Glade. Visitors will be able to see the new trees planted over the winter, the daffodils, tulips and fruit blossom.
There will be a range of stalls, including a plant stall, a local wood turner, crafts and jams; and we will be joined by the Woodland Trust and Essex Wildlife Trust.
Bishop’s Stortford Ukelele Society will be providing music
Garden produce and merchandise will be available for sale, hopefully, including our rhubarb
Our treehouse and garden trail are always popular with children of all ages. A new addition is our elephant statue, a reminder of Kim, the Countess of Warwick's baby elephant
A guided Tour of the Gardens can be booked at the Gate. This will cover the fascinating history of: Daisy the Countess of Warwick; Easton Lodge; and the Peto designed Gardens.

Visitors advised to book online for speedier entry and to ensure a ticket. It will also be possible to pay at the entrance from 12.00 if there are unsold tickets. Free entry for those under 16. Friends and Season ticket holders do not need to book, just show your card at the entrance.
Locally sourced bacon, cheese or hummus rolls; homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks will be available until they run out – or till 4pm.
