In Her Defence was first performed by The Compton Players under the name Evil Will Come last November. Since then, Helen has made some changes and will be taking this slightly different version performed with just two actors to the Edinburgh Fringe in August under her business, Dead Herring.Philip Mackinder is dead. His wife, Catherine, has shot him. As a court hears the evidence leading up to the murder, we witness the disintegration of the marriage and discover the real, surprising truth.
