Venerable Robina Courtin: Why We Need a Spiritual Teacher.
About
How do we relate best to a spiritual teacher?
Venerable Robina Courtin: Why We Need a Spiritual Teacher, 22-24 July 2022, ONLINE
As in the study and practice of any body of knowledge, the role of a teacher, a mentor, is crucial to the success of the student. This weekend goes into detail about how to find a qualified spiritual teacher (in Sanskrit, guru; in Tibetan, lama); how to gain confidence in their qualities; and how to devote oneself to them and emulate their qualities: those of a buddha.
