Snowdonia Weekend (SOLD OUT)
About
Join DG Outdoor Adventures for a fantastic weekend trekking in North Wales
Snowdonia is an absolute delight, full of rugged beauty and DG Outdoor Adventures will take you on an amazing journey to explore this incredibly scenic and wild region.
We meet up in the Ogwen Valley on Saturday 3rd September for a 13:30 prompt start with a hike around Cwm Idwal and take in some natural wonders that only thrive in this area. This hike should be around 2.5 hours.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the lovely areas and villages if you choose or go straight to your accommodation.
There is plenty of accommodation around to book but advisable to stay within 20 miles radius of Snowdon for access to the mountains.
There will also be an option to meet up for an evening meal, probably Y Stablau in Betws-Y-Coed and then retire for an early night.
On Sunday 4th September we will have made a decision on which route we take up Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon due to weather and ability of the group but it will be an early start to avoid the crowds
It will be a long day (Up to 8 Hours) so please ensure you have plenty of food and water as well as good walking gear.
A full kit list will be provided upon purchase of ticket.
