The Family Business MidiCon - North West is a tailored, regional family business conference designed for leaders within family businesses and those who support the sector.
The MidiCon will take place at The Crooklands Hotel near Kendal and will feature a series of engaging family business interviews, a parliamentary family business update from MP for Carlisle - John Stevenson, plus interactive sessions on topical family business issues and networking time.
The speaker line-up is diverse to the say the least, with five family businesses from across the North West, including: Managing Director of Algeos - Max Sheridan, Rachael Baker - Managing Director of JJ Smith Woodworking, William Whitaker - fourth generation of Whitakers Chocolates, siblings Matthew and Laura Farrall of Farrall's Group and two generations from The Plastic Bottles Company in Ulverston.
Some of the key topical areas to be covered include succession planning, new generation successors and developing the route to leadership, stepping away from tradition and the importance of a strong brand and vision.
The MidiCon offers a great opportunity for family business owners looking to learn from and network with like-minded individuals and the best family business leaders in the region.
The event will be co-hosted by directors of The Family Business Community, Sue Howorth and Dave Clarkson.
Tickets cost £65+vat and include lunch and refreshments throughout the day
Ticket numbers will be limited due to guidelines on capacity restrictions.
We look forward to seeing you there!
