Gardens of Easton Lodge Sunday 21st August Open day

A lovely summer’s day at the Gardens and a chance to learn about local history, as our archivists will be displaying photos and stories about the Maynards, who owned the estate from 1590 and built the first Easton Lodge in 1597. Children will enjoy a trail, craft activity and climbing into the treehouse and meeting our elephant!
There will be a range of stalls, including a plant stall, a local wood turner, crafts and jams; and we will be joined by Essex Wildlife Trust.
Woodwind of Stortford will play a range of summery music, at 1.45 and 3.15.
Refreshments will be available at Daisy's, and our volunteer team will provide: locally sourced bacon; cheese or hummus rolls; delicious homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks; until they run out – or till 4.00pm.
