Red Deer Rut Dawn Walk with Ullswater Steamers

Join our special Dawn Walk into the fells above Ullswater to hear the extraordinary bellowing of the Red Deer Rut above the Martindale Valley. Using binoculars and time to spot the herds, both near & far, whilst we stop to enjoy your picnic breakfast (not included). Head across the fell onto Angle Tarn Pikes, tracking the deer, hearing the bellows as they wake up. Once we meet and start our day, the route and distance will be dependent on the weather, the deer and participant fitness levels. If we have good numbers joining us, there will be the opportunity for a longer and shorter walk.
