Red Deer Rut with Ullswater Steamers & Bedafell Walk

Begin our special day on the glorious Ullswater Steamers to Howtown, before embarking on a journey onto Martindale and onto Bedafell, a lesser walked fell to the east of Place Fell. Spot the Red deer and hear their bellowing of the rutting stags. Before heading across to the head of Boredale for possible glimpses of the rEd Deer hiding in the Place Fell Crags. From Bedafell we can hear the bellowing of the rut echoing around Bannerdale to the east and boredale to the west of us as we walk. Bring binoculars if you have them! (We have some spares for folk too.) Ullswater Steamer fair included in your ticket, weather permitting & non-refundable if the steamers can't run due to wind, but be assured we will still have an amazing day out in the hills.
