Red Kite Feeding
Open every day during school holidays (please check the booking calendar as different regions have different school closures. For the summer we open every day from 1st - 31st August inclusive).
Otherwise closed Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from January through to the end of March, closed Thursdays and Fridays from April through to the end of October, closed Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays through November.
December opening times - open weekends of 2nd/3rd, 9th/10th, 16th/17th. Closed 23rd & 24th. Re-open 27th to 31st inclusive.
The Red Kites are fed once each day at 3pm (GMT + 1) in the Summer and 2pm (GMT) in the Winter. The Centre opens at 12.30pm and closes at 5pm. Please note there is no access onto the farm until 12.30pm when the Kite Centre opens.
We offer the viewing field, 5 standard hides (numbered 1-5, hides 2, 3 & 5 have ramp access) and specialist photographic hides (please refer to our website for more information). The standard hides are all located on the perimeter of the feeding field and all offer an equal experience.
Facilities on the farm include a coffee shop (cakes, hot and cold drinks, ice-creams), gift shop, toilets (including disabled), pic-nic site and farm trail.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on the farm but are not permitted in the coffee shop, gift shop, Hide 5, and the specialist photographic hides. They must be kept on a short lead at all times.
