The Visit tells the story of an immensely wealthy and glamorous woman returning to her impoverished hometown after 45-years, to exact revenge on Anton Shill who betrayed her at 18. Upon her return she proposes to give the townspeople enough money to revitalise the dilapidated town and make every inhabitant wealthier than their wildest dreams. However, in exchange they must kill Anton Shill! The townspeople are horrified by the suggestion but as time passes and the lure of a better life lingers in the air, their moral consciences begin to fade…
