Mozart Vespers with Musical Cocktails

Worthing Choral Society will sing the beautiful Mozart Vespers, including the iconic Laudate Dominum ( the solo soprano soars above the choir in a wonderfully emotional combination). The composition has six sections each setting a Psalm each part of which is part of the church Vespers service. Between the section we will sing more modern pieces including Elgar's 'My love dwelt in a northern land', Henryk Gorecki's 'Totus Tuus', Howard Goodall's 'The Lord is my Shepherd' (of the Vicar of Dibley fame) and his 'Love Divine all Love's Excelling' and others. Then we will sing the premiere of 'According to Sirach' by Worthing composer Robert HinchliffeLocation
