Founded in 1834, the Gravesend and Rochester Agricultural Association Ploughing Match continues to provide a venue for local skilled plough persons to show their skills to competition standard.
From vintage to modern tractors and ploughs, to steam and horse power displays through to corn competitions showing off the quality of that year’s harvest.
The GRAA ploughing match also includes a competition tent for all members of the family to show their skills from craft to cookery.
The Gymkhana entertains in a show ring with jumping and gymkhana events and the annual dog derby.
There are many trade stands displaying local crafts, modern machinery, food stalls and a pop up bar 'The Ploughman’s Arms'.
Rural displays on the day include Birds of Prey, wood chopping entertainment, meet the beagles and Tug of War.
