Come and join our Summer BBQ and Social Sixes cricket event— play against staff, students, parents & OVs in a fun 6-a-side tournament.
Don't fancy cricket? Just come along for the BBQ & catch up with friends. We will also run a rounders match too (no experience necessary!) open to all.
Sixth Form, do join us for the day — at least for the BBQ, & invite your family along too, to celebrate your time at Warminster together.
11/12* Cricket Start
2pm Rounders
4pm BBQ Start
5:30pm Trophy presentation
* exact times depends on the number of teams entered, but expect an 11/12 start for the first matches.
What is Sixes?
As the name suggests, the game is six players on each team, compared with the usual 11, on a slightly smaller pitch — matches are quick, fast & lots of fun, with 4 or 5 overs a side — each match lasts about 30-40 mins, with a format that ensures every team gets to play a few matches.
Cricket equipment available to borrow on the day.
