International Head & Neck Cancer Conference 2023
About
This will be our 8th year of the International Head & Neck Cancer Conference and we are looking to deliver two days full of inspiring and memorable sessions for everyone who attends. We aim to bring once again a mixture of laughter, inspirational stories, and hard-hitting topics to encourage the audience to think differently.
This year we move to the English Rivera Torquay and will be hosted by the Head & Neck team in Torbay. Mr Phillip Reece, ENT/Head and Neck Consultant in Torbay Hospital and Honorary Consultant at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital will be our Conference President with Fahida Rehman-Manby, Lead Head & Neck/Thyroid Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist and Sam Gregory Macmillan Speech and Language Therapist being joint Presidents.
Over two inspirational days on the 8th and 9th November 2023, whether those attending are health professionals, patients, caregivers, survivors, sponsors, speakers, exhibitors, or organisers, they will gain a greater awareness of ways to improve the journey of the head & neck cancer patient and caregiver.
The conference will challenge everyone to think differently on how to improve the quality of life and the patient’s outcome from diagnoses to survivorship and beyond, remembering “Survivorship is not Survivorship without Quality of Life”
Hearing from Inspirational Speakers, from around the globe. Whether they are Cancer Survivors or World-Renowned Health Professionals all will be sharing their Head & Neck cancer stories.
We are taking in to account the feedback last year where delegates said “great to have panel discussions and interact with them” “Loved the interaction with the panel” “Inspirational subjects covered by the speakers” “Will change the way I work in clinic” as such we will have Keynote speakers and interactive panel discussions throughout the two days.
Enhancing knowledge, learning from a room full of likeminded people, whether patients, caregivers, or health professionals, who are passionate about making a difference and improving the Head & Neck Cancer journey, there really will be something for everyone guaranteed.
Facilitating the making of connections, networking activities provide the perfect opportunity for everyone to meet both friends old and new, strengthen existing relationships and catch up with like-minded people in a relaxed environment. For health professional organisations connecting and renewing acquaintances may also offer potential commercial opportunities.
Our exhibition area remains very popular by all that attend, as it gives you the opportunity to see the very latest products and services available within Head & Neck Cancer.
Sharing ideas, discussion forums together with patients, caregivers, health professionals and companies in a unique environment, allowing all to share their own journey and see it within a broader context. The whole conference will provide all attending with opportunities to step beyond their own experiences and, for organisations, offer continued professional development.
Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th November 2023.
Exhibition doors open from 8:30am for a prompt start of the conference 10am each day.
