Gardens of Easton Lodge Sunday 23rd April, Tudor Day

Friends and Season ticket holders just need to show their card at the Gate.
The first full season Open Day and the first Tudor Day to be held at the Gardens.
Elizabeth I gave the estate to Henry Maynard and visitors will meet Lord Burghley and his entourage, as they visit to inspect the building of Easton Lodge in 1594.
There will be a range of Tudor activities for visitors, provided by the Companye of Merrie Folke and others, including archery & armour, net making and weaving, tudor games, quill writing and pottage making.
We will have available for sale:- plants, honey, woodturned products and crafts, and the Trust’s merchandise.
Our treehouse is always popular with children of all ages, along with Kim our elephant statue, a reminder of the Countess of Warwick's baby elephant.
Visitors will also find daffodils, tulips and a variety of other wild and cultivated flowers bringing colour across the Gardens
Homemade cakes; hot bacon rolls; also cheese and houmous fillings; and hot and cold drinks will be available until they run out – or till 2.30pm.
Disabled parking available near Gate. The carer for a disabled wheel chair user does not need to purchase a ticket.
