Join Floating Art's #UVPAINTINGCLUB for a special experience where you'll get to paint whatever you want with Neon colours under UV specially installed UV lights.

We're Manchester's originals when it comes to these workshops. We've been holding UV painting sessions for 4 years now and have got the techniques down to a tee.

These workshops are suitable for all levels, whether you're looking for something different to do with friends and drinks or you draw and paint already and want to try out the UV experience.

Enter into our psychedelic space with UV lights at Northern Monk MCR. Learn how to create your own painting using UV colours within our specialy set up space in the Northern Monk's Cellar bar

We will bring along a selection of painting references for you to draw inspiration from although you are welcome to bring along your own ideas. This workshop will begin with a short demonstration from the teacher to help you get started. Our teacher Ula will be at hand throughout the workshop to help you create and develop whatever's flourishing in your mind.

Our of all of our workshops, this one's argubaly the least challenging one but the most fun, It's suitable for painters of all levels and very beginner friendly.

Located at Northern Monk, an independent brewery in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Offering a wide selection of craft beers. Spirits and soft drinks also available. We encourage you to support our venues by making purchases before, during and after our workshop.

*Towards the end of the workshop there will be an opportunity for you to get your photo taken. We will use these photos for social media and promotional use. Please let us know if you're not comfortable with this.

Knowledge required

• Beginner friendly - all levels welcome.

Materials (all provided)

• UV paint and acrylic on canvas

What you'll get:

• All of the equipment and materials needed for your class.

• Protective equipment such as aprons.

What to bring

• Comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little paint on.

• A carrying bag for take your artworks home.
