In this 2 day workshop you will learn the skills to make a large willow log /storage/laundry basket.This workshop is suitable for beginners.
Please note: due to the thickness of the willow that we will be using a degree of hand strength is needed so this is not suitable for anyone with weaker hands.
The course will run from 10-4 each day.
The Venue:
The workshop will take place in the beautiful setting of The Middlewood Trust, Backsbottom Farm, Roeburndale about 15 miles from Lancaster
A note about accessibility. To get to the venue there is an approx 500 metre drive on a rough track to the car park - please be aware there are potholes on this track so drive with caution. It is possible to leave the car at the top of the track if you prefer. Once parked at the parking area there is an approx 10 minute walk to the venue. Unfortunately the farm isn’t very accessible for people with mobility needs.
Lunch:
A vegan lunch of soup and bread will be provided each day.
